As Europe’s #1-ranked entrepreneurship ecosystem, UnternehmerTUM and the Technical University of Munich produce more start-ups than any other university in Germany. UnternehmerTUM offers start-ups comprehensive services from the initial idea to the IPO. A team of over 350 employees supports the company's establishment, market entry, and financing – including venture capital.

XPRENEURS, UnternehmerTUM’s incubation program for high-tech start-ups on their way from initial customer interest to market entry, plays a central role in this. XPRENEURS supports young founders in validating their business model, finding their first customers and securing initial investments.

Stadtsparkasse München has now closed a cooperation agreement with XPRENEURS and supports the program as a sponsoring partner.

„The work done at XPRENEURS has made a lasting impression on us. Start-ups here find a mix of access to industry experts, mentors and potential customers and investors that is unique in Germany”, says Stefan Schindler, Head of the StartUp-Center at Stadtsparkasse München.

Board member Stefan Hattenkofer adds: „We are delighted to be able to contribute to this with our support.”

Barbara Mehner, Managing Partner of XPRENEURS, says: “Only together with strong partners like Stadtsparkasse München, we can create a flourishing ecosystem. They bring the expertise and network our start-ups need to get into the market.”
