TwoStay — Not An Ordinary Office
How would you describe your business idea to a potential investor?
Twostay allows you to work in inspiring locations and interact with a vibrant community of people. We use locations that have a business function that leaves them empty or underused for part of the day as spaces for our spread out co-working. By using our platform, workers can join other professionals working in art galleries, showrooms or restaurants when those are not used, enjoying inspiring places, use Wi-Fi and take part in networking events.
What problem do you want to solve, what is your goal?
The way we work has completely changed. The new concept of workspace doesn’t need more than Wi-Fi, seats and the right atmosphere to be productive. Twostay solves the problem of finding an inspiring place where to work, suitable to your every-day different needs and being part of a community of people with whom creating synergies and exchanging opportunities.
How did you come up with your idea/concept?
Once I have quit my job, I found myself without an office and money to afford a coworking space, working from cafes and struggling being on my own all day in a Starbucks, coping with loud tourists. On the other hand, being passionate about interior design, I have always loved to look for new places and I have discovered how much more productive my day was if I was working from a special location. From there the match was the easy part: those places have everything needed to be perfect non-offices!
What is your business model?
The business model is the same as a normal coworking with a bit more flexibility. The user has a member card with hours that he/she can top up, once a spot is booked, the number of hours used are deducted from the total amount.Why did you decide to work with XPRENEURS
Two main reasons: first of all, I have started this journey being alone and this doesn’t allow you to go too far, therefore I needed support. With Xpreneurs mentorship, coaching and network things are a little easier.
Moreover, I want to develop a tech product and not a simple coworking space and being surrounded by high tech startups and entrepreneurs is what helps me to reach my goal!
